About Us

Welcome to the Welland Academy website. I hope that you will find it a useful source of information and that it keeps you up to date with all the exciting activities that happen in our busy school.

We are a happy and positive school and we strongly believe that every child should be provided with opportunities to develop socially, emotionally, academically and physically and through this our pupils will achieve their full potential. We are an inclusive learning community which is forward thinking, innovative and committed to ensuring that all of the children in our care are enthusiastic and independent learners.

We have a team of talented, hardworking and committed staff who are dedicated to doing the very best for all children and together create a caring, secure, purposeful and stimulating environment.

We are a school that likes to celebrate success – at every level. The life of the Academy is driven by enthusiasm and a desire to achieve. Through our curriculum we aim to bring learning alive, making it exciting, stimulating and fun. We want to give our children a thirst for learning that continues with them throughout their lives.

At the heart of everything we do are our five core values; care, courtesy, co-operation, consideration and confidence. These 5 Cs are promoted in all aspects of school life and, we believe, are important values for our children to take with them into the future.

At the Welland Academy, we welcome parents/carers as partners in their children’s education for it is only through true partnership – based on trust, co-operation and support – that we can do the very best for your child. We look forward to working with you over the coming years.

We hope that our website gives you a flavour of what we offer and if you are interested in learning more about our school then please do contact the Academy office and come and visit us.
