It has been in the planning for a long while but we have finally welcomed 3 chickens to join us at Welland Academy. Thanks to the amazing fundraising efforts our of pupil council and our families, we have tidied up our pond area, purchased a eggloo, feed, chickens. The chickens are not yet named and will be after a little competition. We have had our first egg - each chicken lays a different colour egg (brown, white and blue). We can't wait to learn more about them.
