Our Class Pet - October 2018
During Autumn Term 1, Pakistan class worked hard to collect marbles in the jar and earn a class reward. We were so excited when we got close to filling it up because that meant that we would get a class pet. Miss Addison agreed that we could have a hamster.
At the start of Autumn Term 2, we arrived in school to a wonderful surprise one morning. Our hamster had arrived! We need to be really quiet and gentle with him because he is so small.
His name is Cooky and we are taking it in turns everyday to feed him and change his water. If we are really lucky, we also get to help Miss Addison to clean him out. We are loving our new responsibility in school and hope that Cooky is having lots of fun as well.
We will keep you posted about his adventures in the classroom as the year progresses.
