A treat before the end of a busy half-term!
To complete our topic on Hola Mexico, we let the students create their own salsa to go alongside some lightly salted nachos. They were each given a chopped tomato base and were then encouraged to add ingredients to their base in order to make it taste how they wanted it to. They could add white and red onions, garlic, oregano, crushed chillies and lime juice to their salsa in order to alter the taste. They really enjoyed the afternoon!
