Welcome to EYFS Portugal Class!
The Class Teacher is Mrs Davies.
We have one Teaching assistants in our class- Mrs Hippey who also supports our children in the outdoor space.
The children have settled so well this year and are most definitely ready for their summer term.
Throughout the summer term please ensure you continue to read with your child.
Homework is set every Friday on Tapestry and shared with the whole class every Monday for your child to talk about and demonstrate pride in their home learning. This is very important and it shows your child the home school link and consistency in expectations towards learning.
We are looking forward to our Farm trip this half term. The children are already learning lots about farms through our core stories which are - Farmer Duck, Who Am I?, Bog Baby and Growing Frogs.
Next half term our focus is on Imagination and stories and our core stories are - Where the wild things are, Meg and Mog and There was an old Dragon who swallowed Knight.
Please feel free to read these to your children to help familiarise them with the plot , setting and characters.
As the weathers heats up please remember to send water in with your child on a daily basis and apply suncream before coming to school. The children can wear sun hats at school when outside but no sunglasses.
PE is still on a Friday so please remember and continue to send your child to school in their PE kit and remove earrings. If they do not come in a PE kit they are unable to participate in this very important aspect of learning.
